Rules & Policy

We strive to not be the stereotypical PC game center/internet cafe by maintaining a safe, bright and social environment for our guests. To enforce this, we have strict but reasonable rules and policies that all patrons must abide by. All rules and policies are subject to additions and changes at any time. Use the navigation to the right to jump to more specific areas.

General Store Policies

  1. No viewing or accession of objectional websites. This includes pornography, hate sites, content depicting lude or illegal conduct.
  2. No mistreatment of equipment or premises, including hacking or interference with the network.
  3. No disruptive or threatening behavior including abusive language and physical horse-play.
  4. Customers must be out of the store no later than 15 minutes after posted closing times.
  5. No refunds for USED computer time for any reason.

For Patrons

First Come, First Serve

Purchase of PC time does not guarantee workstation availability. Because we can not possibly predict when guests will use our services, we have a very strict "First Come, First Serve" policy. This means that even if you have time on your account, or if you have come to use our computers, we can not hold workstations open for you even if you call in and tell us your coming. We have to serve those patrons that are actually in the store.

This policy also includes prepayment for "The Deal" and Lock-ins. The purchasing of time for these store events does not guarantee the availability of a workstation if you are not here previous to or at the start of the event. If you are not here within a reasonable amount of time after the start, your reservation will be released and your workstation will be made available to another patron. At that point you have the option of being put on a waiting list or being refunded for your store event prepay.

Internet Usage

Because we cater to gamers of all ages and because we are a publicly available service, we have a strict no tolerance policy towards the viewing of web content that is offensive or objectionable. Any and all violators of this rule will be asked to leave immediately, not matter if they are engaged in other web activities. They will have the option to close their account and get refunded for any remaining UNUSED PC time.

For Parents

We are NOT a sitter

We feel that our cafe is the best because we maintain a bright, friendly, clean environment for our guests to come and have a good time, either by themselves or with friends. Our hope is that you will find it the same and feel comfortable bringing your son or daughter in to participate in our experience. However, we are in no way a sitting service, and as such are not responsible for your child if you choose to allow them to be here without guardian or adult supervision.

However, we do hold them responsible to their own actions as it relates to our business, store environement or interaction with patrons. They will be held responsible for damaged property, theft and disturbing guests. In certain cases, they will be asked to leave and may not return until a parent or guardian is consulted by management.

ESRB Rating System

The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) ratings are designed to provide consumers, especially parents, with concise, impartial guidance about the age-appropriateness and content of computer and video games so that they can make informed decisions about the games they deem suitable for their children and families. The ratings given by this self-regulated body are an age appropriate recommendation based upon the submitted content of the game from the game developer. It meant to give a glimpse into the environment, language, themes and interaction that happen within the game.

NTWLINK takes this recommendation seriously when evaluating new games. On occasion will may offer a game that has been given an M-rating because we are able to alter or remove certain game elements. The elements include bad language, blood or even violent prerendered cinematics. It is our experience that many great games get an M-rating because of the content of their single player campaigns. If possible, we restrict play access to just the multiplayer parts that do not include such content.
